Desired-situation.com processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process:

Why we process personal data
Desired-situation.com processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Contacting you about information, making an appointment;
- Sending a newsletter (under the Telecommunications Act after registering via the website);
- To offer you the possibility to create an account;
- To offer a functioning website;
- To collect anonymous statistical data;
- To protect, adjust and update the website.
Storage of personal data
Desired-situation.com does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which it is collected. We use the following retention periods:
- Personal details and address: 7 years for tax inspection.
- Surf data: a few months before re-targeting.
- Email address for the newsletter: unlimited until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter contains the option to unsubscribe.
Security and third parties
The protection of privacy is important for you and for us. That is why our systems and programs are well protected to prevent unauthorized persons within and outside of our organization from accessing your personal data. If we receive or transfer certain critical information, such as payment data, we use a secure server. You will be notified of this via a screen that is displayed on our site (pop-up). Desired-situation.com does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide this data if this is necessary for the implementation of our agreement with you, or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Desired-situation.com remains responsible for these processes. The information that is exchanged hereby is only intended for the correct functioning of our site.

Google Analytics: we use this service to keep track of and get reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required to provide access to this data on the basis of applicable laws and regulations. We collect information about your surfing behaviour and share this data with Google. Google uses this information to offer targeted advertisements (Adwords) and other Google services and products, among other things.
Facebook pixel: we use this service to measure your purchasing behaviour by advertising via Facebook and Instagram, via ads on Facebook and Instagram based on earlier web-shop visits, previous purchases or related target group / interest. Also re-targeting through advertisements via related sites of Facebook messages.
